My Review

This book may end the Rising Dawn Trilogy. Still, it isn’t the end of the fantastic characters and relationships that this author has created. They will live in our hearts forever.

I love that this series is unique, and I’m sure I have missed important information and look forward to re-reading it. This story wraps up everything nicely, which is really hard to do with that many characters, relationships, and situations. But the author did it flawlessly and even included a happy ending. This story is filled with love, family, friends, and wolf shifters with hearts, plus plenty of action and adventure to keep you spellbound to the story. I loved connecting with every couple in this book and following them from heartbreak to happiness. Each couple has its own challenge to overcome. The author incorporates all sorts of tropes into this paranormal fiction with lots of action and adventure to leave you turning pages unable to stop reading.

This book begins from the wolf’s perspective remembering Damian and Holly and the recent War of the Alphas in the last book. He describes the changes in the previous year as Damian is now the Alphas of Alphas and has defeated the council. Holly and Damian haven’t lost their kind hearts and graceful leading, making needed changes to the pack or their appetite for each other.

We jump POV to Damian; it was weird reading from his wolf’s POV. But kinda cool too. All seems to be well until we get to Black’s POV with Rachel. This book is an edge-of-your-seat read with so many characters and things happening simultaneously. They all interconnect, but lots of plot lines create this story.

This story has some very tense moments with couples we know and love. I really hope who is causing all this turmoil dies eventually. Oh, there are definitely characters you love to hate in this book.

I love all the females in this book; they are strong, intelligent, and oh so loving. Each one has their own heroine qualities. I’m over here rooting for Damian and Holly, Micah and Katy, and all the other couples. Omg, the ending of this book is fantastic; they finally got the happiness they wanted, family’s and changed wolf lifestyles. I love the epilogue and the author’s notes for more coming in the future.

I highly suggest you read the entire Rising Dawn Series and check out the Author Q & A with Rebecca Cassells.
