Question 1 When did you start writing?
I started writing mid 2017, and published my first book in October of 2018!
Question 2 What comes first, the plot or characters?
My books are very much character-driven, but I always make sure the characters are driving the plot forward. If they aren’t, I will happily cut whole scenes or chapters, lol.
Question 3 How many books have you written? Which is your favourite?
I’ve solo written five books and co-written two books. Oh man, how can I pick a favorite?? The two that make me the most feelsy would probably be Immersive (book three in The Elite Trials) and Curse Touched (book two in A Touch of Vampire).
Question 4 Where do you get your inspiration?
Usually from other books in the genres I write and movies!
Question 5 Can you share with us something about the book that isn’t in the blurb?
In my A Touch of Vampire series, the main female character has a rare ability that causes all sorts of problems, especially for the love interest. 😉
Question 6 Tell us about the process for coming up with the cover.
I personally love covers that feature the main character with a dramatic, moody background, so that’s what kind of covers I design. Since my vampire books are a loose Beauty and the Beast retelling, I also added a more whimsical, fairy tale look to the covers.
Question 7 Are you working on anything at the present you would like to share with your readers about?
I’m plotting Fate Touched, book three in the A Touch of Vampire series! I’m also writing down ideas for the next series on my agenda, which will be a wolf shifter romance hopefully set in the same world!
Question 8 What book is currently on your bedside table?
Several of mine, plus Scythe, which I haven’t finished reading but it’s soooo good.
Question 9 What do you like to do when you are not writing?
Binge-read and binge-watch tv shows!!
Question 10 Share something your readers wouldn’t know about you.
Hmm… I can play the flute and violin, I’m good at horseback riding, and I’m addicted to Mountain Dew. 🙂
