The world’s fate rests in her hands . . .
My soulmate has been taken from me, and I’ll do anything to get him back.
Even kill.
But finding him proves to be harder than I thought. And dangerous. Even with Lochlan’s brother by my side, rogues continue to target me.
Despite the growing peril, the race is on to break the curse, and my only hope is to locate Lochlan before it becomes permanent. If that happens, there will be no saving the world from its destructive fate.
My Review
The last book in this series ended on a massive cliffhanger, and I have been awaiting this read for a while. I can’t wait to see what happens to Lochlan and Kenna.
The prologue of this book is an excellent refresher for what has happened if you don’t remember it and from Lochlans point of view. This gives us an insight look at those last moments before the cliffhanger.
This book starts out with a bang and a lot of action. Kenna is running with Everett, Lochlans brother, he is instinctive but intelligent, and their goals seem to align now. She is still mortal. This book gets steamy as they are reunited. I absolutely love Kenna and Lochlan together, even if he is a little angsty. I love that he is a vampire prince and part of the demon trinity but still caring toward his girl. The part that she is human and mortal with some special abilities due to being soul-bound is so intriguing.
Ah, the age-old vampire issues spring up in there happily for now. This book just gets more intense as the story goes on. This book is Twilight-esque but way steamier. I like how badass Kenna is as she discovers what she is capable off even as a mortal. Omg, I’m in shock. I didn’t expect that, and I feel so bad for Kenna and Lochlan. They went through the trails; they have found each other once again, and acceptance has come as well with it. I’m overjoyed at the public display they can be part of but stunned by the intense action. I love how this book ended, and the epilogue was the perfect conclusion to this epic paranormal romance.
I’m looking forward to the spin-off the author mentions.
I truly enjoyed this trilogy and highly encourage you to read it.
