My Review
Daria is magically inclined with telekinetic magic and the ability to heal. But someone has been giving her death threats, and she is forced to hire a bodyguard. Logan is hot, tall, and all-male; he was before the military and has done other security work before becoming her guard.
This book has forced proximity and fated mates in it. Her healing touch, as she calls it, is demanding, but she doesn’t like to touch people as it sometimes causes her pain. However, her new bodyguard Logan doesn’t seem to have that effect very curious.
I love imagining the big protective alpha male and can’t wait to see how this plays out. I also love that it leaves her unsure and confused but surprised.
Is Logan paranormal as well? I like the chemistry between them, but I also like that he is devoted to his job. I like how the author introduced other paranormals into her world. Daria may not be the most brilliant witch ever, and she puts herself in quite a predicament. This book takes an unexpected, more emotional turn as her small world is rocked, and they finally get steamy.
This book ends with a unique ending but leads to the next book. After reading the blurbs for the other books in the series, I’m not sure I want to read any further.
