Question 1 If you could pick one thing to remove/change from any of your books or book what would it be?

Thinking I could escape professional editing when I first started would be the only thing I would change. One of the biggest mistakes I made starting out was thinking I could buy editing software that would take the place of a human editor.

Question 2 What part of the book was the most fun to write?

On Inked Charlie was the most fun character I’ve ever written. I admire his brutal honesty. A very close second would be Luc in Devil’s Secretary, because, well, he’s the devil.

Buy Inked now

There are tons of funny scenes in Blinded by Love, but it has to be Declan’s conversation with his friend after his first date with Kassie.

Question 3 What is the significance of the title?

Inked is a nod to Charlie’s profession and Emily Rose’s key to freedom.

It would spoil the book if I say. I think after you read it the title will stick with you.

Question 4 If you’re planning a series, can you share a tiny bit about your plans for it

I currently have one paranormal romance series, Order Bound, and I’m working on the final book right now. It will be a little darker with lots of plot twists. It includes Holden, Trinity, and (coming soon) Unbroken.

Question 5 What’s your favorite spot to visit in your own country? And what makes it so special to you?

Brookgreen Gardens is a statue and botanical garden and I love it! Peaceful, beautiful, and at Christmas magical.

Question 6 What’s your favorite writing snack or drink?

What’s your favorite writing snack or drink?

Question 7 If your book were made into a movie, which actors would play your characters?

On Inked, Charlie Hunnam for Charlie and Christina Schmidt for Emily Rose.

Matthew McConaughey for Declan and Kate Beckinsale for Kassie

Question 8 What was your favorite song while writing this book? Do you have a playlist I can share?

I’m a total write in silence girl, which is boring yet true.

Question 9 Describe your writing space?

Cozy couch, with a quiet house. I have been known to stay up super late if my daughter is out of school because it’s hard to concentrate with her and her friends running around.

Question 10 What advice do you have for writers/authors?

Love it, all parts of it, because that will be what keeps you going. Being an Indie Author I’m not sure I’m qualified to give advice, but I will tell you a piece of advice I received that I have found to be true. If you only pay for two things, get a professional cover and editor. Thankfully there are cost-effective options for those of us starting out!

Question 11 If you had to be shipwrecked on a deserted island, but all your human needs—such as food and water—were taken care of, what two items would you want to have with you?

If the Internet were possible my phone for reading on my Kindle app. Love KU!

Question 12 If you could compare yourself with any animal, which would it be and why?

Squirrels because they are cute, funny, and a little crazy.

If you have a chance check out the books by Gladys Cross and her Amazon Author Page, I have had the honor of reading and reviewing Inked, and I look forward to reading more of her books including her new release Blinded by Love. I also cant wait to read her paranormal and mafia stories Devil’s Secretary, Holden, Trinity, and The Thing of Ours.
