1. What authors or books have influenced you or your writing style?

I love romantic comedy. Anybody who can make me laugh as my attention. Currently, in paranormal romcom, Carry Pulkinen and Lola Glass.

2. How would you describe your book in three words?

Funny, sweet, swoony.

3. What can readers expect from your book?

A fun story! A good time with a lot of laughter. Low drama/angst. You’ll get emotional at times, but no crying.

4. What tropes or themes can be expected in this book?

Paranormal romantic comedy

Soulmates/fated mates
Found Family/Community
Reluctant protagonist

5. A quote you love from your book?

A line I love: “Instead of emo Edward Cullen, I get Latinx James Bond in vampire form. Awesome.”

6. What are you currently working on next?

Currently translating Miami Bites to Spanish. When I need breaks, I’m rereading Bear’s story (book 2,) which I plan to start officially editing in early June. I’m also writing the next story (as scenes come to me, but I’m not focused on it.)
