The game is up—our love is public. Now everyone has turned against us…
I knew joining The Reject Project to protect my best friend’s little sister was dangerous. But the ruthless television game show is going too far, with contestants turning feral.
If anyone discovers my secret relationship with Kira, it could be the end of us. Our best game plan is to find a way to bring down the show, but then the host reveals shocking hidden footage of Kira and I together, and our worst fears are realized. Everyone turns against us.
The challenges are becoming relentless and the stakes have never been higher, yet Kira is still determined to save the other participants. Our plan to help the others escape to safety may be risky, but it’s our last hope.
Only nothing prepares us for what comes next. The time to play games is over, because now it’s life or death…
My Review
This is the second book in the series ( but when I read the series it was the third), and after reading the first, I absolutely had to get this one. I’m entirely hooked on Kira and Wyatt. I would love to know about their history and secrets and how they both navigate The Reject Project.
I was reading it, and the book I was reading got removed. It seems this is now book 2, so I assume Fated for Rejection got released, but I don’t know why it isn’t showing up so I can read this fantastic series in the correct order.
This book begins with Kira. It picks up where the removed book 2 left off. This whole thing makes this fantastic series confusing. This book has a lot of references to the previous book that was pulled, so it might need to be clarified. I want to ask the authors why they removed that other book. It looks like it is available in paperback form only but, it really does help make or break this series.
Kira and Wyatt are still in a love/hate relationship. Worried as heck one minute and trading barbs the next. The truth comes out; this book doesn’t spare the nail-biting edge-of-your-seat drama. You get so sucked into Kira and Wyatt’s survival that the rare instances of romance are to be celebrated. The book is mostly action, suspense, and valuable moments.
Dating action sequences, drama like you can’t believe, and steamy romance keep this story rolling with the reader at the edge of your seat. This book is more fantasy than paranormal, but it works and is so good. I am enjoying this fiction and all the surprise challenges and plots.
This book is less of a read than the others, but it is still decent and extends the overall storyline. Oh, that’s an exciting turn of events, different from what I expected from this book.
This book ends even more mysteriously than the last, leaving us on quite the cliffhanger, and the next book isn’t even out yet. Ugh, I have to wait to finish this series. His Rejected Mate, the 3rd and last book in this series, is available soon.
If you would like to read the actual 2nd book in this series, Fated for Rejection, you can find my review and a link to the paperback version.
If you want to read Escaping Rejection, the current 2nd book in the series, you can find this book on Amazon. As an Amazon Assocaite, I earn on qualifying purchases.

I am a little upset about this! So is it 4 books now instead of 3? I went to read “second” book in the series, and was like did I accidentally download the wrong book? Because this is not where I left off with the first.

Yes that’s what’s I noticed the second book is available as audio only and I’m not sure if it was combined with the first like other series. But on the kindle site for the book it looks like 3 books in the series and the second is mia. However I did find it on the audio link and shared that for those who needed it.

You’re not the only one I find it very confusing and turns me off from reading this author.
