My Review

This paranormal romance is a thrilling, action, adventure-filled story that mixes The Bachelor and Survivor. I can’t get enough of this story. 

Kira is a badass heroine who has been dealt a horrible fated mate rejection and makes decisions that put her life at risk. She is a latent shifter with quite a story to tell. Wyatt is a lone Wolf who is totally Apha; he is protective, possessive, and in love with his best friend’s sister. Through a twist of fate, they both end up on the death-defying BloodStone Island and the Reality TV show. Nothing like life and death situations to ignite the simmering slow-burn romance. The paranormal and action-adventure in this book are exceptional. I have truly enjoyed every moment of this story. This book is the first in a series.

Kira is an operative on a sting to take down a shifter who isn’t on the right side of the old-fashioned shifter laws. The story starts out action-packed as Kira goes from being in control to spiraling quickly. 

Wyatt has a history with Kira; tidbits are hinted at, but I admire his protective instincts and mindset. More will be revealed as both of these characters are deep and intriguing. 

This story is definitely more Fantasy/TV reality than I expected, but the plot line is interesting enough. The story has intrigue and mystery, including this Survivor meets The Bachelor on a remote island twist. I love the incorporations of best friend’s sister, the rejected mate trope, and, of course, all the things on the Island that make noise at night and can kill these paranormal wolf shifters. The fierce competition and the characters have a lot of heart, making this one hell of a read. 

Action-packed and death-defying as they each compete for their own reasons. Kira is a badass heroine in this story. I love every minute of the paranormal abnormalities on this hellish Island. Death, steamy scenes, and the never-ending surprises await her as she decides to save herself and Wyatt. Her feelings are starting to show, but I must figure out this ending. This book is superb, so good my notes are sparse as I couldn’t pull my nose out of the book.  

Omg as if things couldn’t be worse, that plot twist at the end might make the next book extremely exciting or too much drama. Either way, I cannot wait to read it.
