My Review
This small-town romance is a sweet, swoony story about how one action can change your life for the better. The author did a great job making you swoon for Miller’s male character and feel connected and empathic toward Mariah and Claire. I like how sweet the relationship was, even in the steamy parts, and it carried thru the story.
Miller has arrived in a new town, new home, and new job; thank goodness he seems to have friends in Mason Creek. He is a doctor of some sort.
Mariah is a newly single mom running from someone. She has a little girl who is a toddler. An oops in her car leaves her in an unfortunate situation in this small town in Montana. I’m glad the little girl will be cared for, and the author included that.
This book gets interesting as the town, and the doc goes out of their way to be amazing to this stranger. I love Lilly’s character; she is outrageous but so badass. Things get complicated as her secrets are revealed. This book does get steamy. Also, there is a big-time jump in the story.
This book is full of sweet moments and surprises, but the author really makes the end of it swoony.
