My Review

This country rockstar romance was filled with erotic steamy scenes, intense love, and an intriguing relationship and adventure. Roxie is young, dreaming of stardom and her next adventure. Travis is looking for peace and time away from his busy life. They find each other, and freedom erupts in very descriptive and sensual moments. They both fall hard and discover love and dreams in each other. This book does end happily. 

Travis is a country music star coming off a successful and tiring tour. He is rich enough to buy houses with land on the fly and add to his collection of properties. But all he wants is a little peace and quiet, some solitude to recover in. 

Ruby is recently graduated from her catholic boarding school. She is excited to be free and dreaming of stardom. She has a lovely family and happens to live next door to the farm Travis bought recently. She is fun, free, and determined to make her dreams come true.

They have an interesting first encounter. He offers a job playing his piano and cleaning the new house. I love the author’s naughty descriptions and his lustful thoughts. I like that we can read his internal monologue and reviews. 

This book gets erotic as the author focuses on the sexual awakening and the intense love. However, just as I thought this book was going nowhere, it finally gets out of the bedroom and arrives in Nashville. I was surprised by what happens next in this age-gap romance. 

I love how this story ended. Ruby got her dream, and Travis found more than he was looking for. The rest of the books in this series are previewed after the epilogue and focus on his brothers and their love stories.
