My Review
This story is the gritty underbelly of America’s Porn industry with a captivating look into a life changed by events no one expected.
The intro to this book is very intriguing. One girl, two strangers, three people in love.
We are on this journey in Denvers Federal Center with a guy we don’t yet know his name. He is being interrogated by two cops. They are trying to get his story, but he has been on the streets for a long time. He has an unusual reaction to a photo of a girl named Blue.
He starts his story and gets lost in the memories. We jump from his memories to her point of view. She recalls the first time she meets Ark and JD.
We find out more about JD, and Ark. Jd seems to be content in his lifestyle. Ark, on the other hand, degrades himself. He prefers to stay in the background and make the videos. They both do this job with hopes of making it on their own. Somehow this book gets steamy and more of a reverse harem. But this book should also be filled with trigger warnings as Blues stories, and theirs comes out it is truly heartbreaking and filled with darkness.
This story has a moment of degrading action as we await the whole story. Oh, there is a tie in between a club boss and Blue. We have a name for the man who caused her pain and injuries. Blue finally has a purpose and motivation. It took like a week in the book timeline, but we are finally seeing a different girl.
This book takes a turn toward the end that you don’t see coming. We do get more answers along the way, but not all of them. This book is a profound, thought-provoking look into a taboo subject in the world we live in. The author takes a neutral stance with the story, letting you develop your own morals about the basis described.
This author has a unique way of taking the brokenness in people and turning it into a captivating story of healing and love.
