Pack of Lies (Shadow Guild: Wolf Queen Book 3) by Linsey Hall

Rating: 4 out of 5.

My Alpha mate and I are running out of time

In a world where magic is power, I should consider myself blessed. I’m loaded with the stuff. Except I have no control over my new magic, and no idea what I really am. All I know is that I’m running out of time before my magic tears me apart.

When a series of thefts reveals clues about my past, I must follow them. Unfortunately, the only way to save myself is to work side by side with Lachlan, the Alpha werewolf who is also my mate.

The chemistry between us is insane, but if we fall for each other, the Dark Moon curse will steal his sanity. The only problem is—we can’t seem to resist each other. It seems we’re damned if we do and damned if we don’t.

My Review

The adventure continues in this book. Eve and Lachlan must help each other so Lachlan doesn’t lose his mind, and Eve understands her added and new powers. Lachlan suffers from a hereditary weakness. This book is filled with travels and more questions than answers. As Eve and Lachlan seek, they also grow closer together. This book is definitely not what it seems. It took me a while to get into it, and even at the end, I don’t feel like it really had answers. Yes, the readers learn what Eve is and why she different than other wolf shifters. This book is packed with magic, action, and mystery. Two more books in this series, and I would love to see Eve and Lachlan finally give into the mate bond event if it spells their doom. What will happen in the rest of this sereis i’m dying to read the next book.
