My Review

This book was interesting, not as impressive as the first book, but it definitely made sense. I love how it could be a stand-alone book. The dynamic shift in the book takes place gradually, but when it is complete, the result is beyond what I would have expected. Starting off as an acquaintance with an oops night and then turning into friends and lovers was definitely different in the romance. This book was less emotional and more dynamic in characters’ personalities and changes of character’s hearts. 

Cole and Sawyer captivated me for this dramatic story. Sawyer came across as honest and helpful, while Cole came across as a jerk. But to see the change in him as he progresses and falls in love with Sawyers was hopelessly romantic. What will the rest of the book contain? I guess you have to read it for yourself !! I definitely didn’t expect all the surprises that this book entailed. 

This book conaitns a trigger warning please if you are sensitive read the warning befroe you read the book it is for a mature audiece. This book contains bullying, surviors guilt and more.

WARNING: Royal Hearts Academy is a New Adult/High School series of standalones filled with drama, a touch of angst, and boys who are bad to the bone. The characters are flawed. If you’re looking for a safe, sweet romance with nice heroes and heroines who are perfect all the time, this series is NOT for you.
