My Review
Jensen is a contracted investigator and recovery agent. His intro is a recovery of a lost antique. After his last successful job, he is being sent after more, but this time in Tilikum, WA. Also, he uses manly wiles to do the jobs.
Natalie is an ER nurse. She lives with her sister and niece, and they are on a tight budget this Christmas. However, she is very sweet despite being stressed and tired.
The mysterious guest turns out to be a business partner, and now they are on the case. Love the suspense and the questions in the book that keep you reading.
Their relationship starts to develop as well as the mystery, but I love the interaction between them, and yes, it gets steamy but also sweet.
I love the snow-in and thrilling moments of the story. It is soft but still absolutely beautiful. The ending is so sweet.
The strangers-to-lovers romance plus a side of intrigue was absolutely beautiful to read. Jensen and Natalie are a super cute couple, and I enjoyed how this story was interconnected but also a standalone.
