As the new Alpha of her pack, Amanda has enough to worry about without the hassle of a mate who won’t accept her rejection. Troy had his chance to claim her and blew it. Now, she has bigger problems, including a potential mutiny within her pack and a mysterious stranger at her door.
Troy knows he screwed up but he’s never stopped wanting Amanda. With her father gone, he’s determined to prove to her that he’s the man she needs, her perfect match, even if it means taking matters into his own hands to do it.
What’s a little magic compared to a wish made in the moonlight?
My Review
Love the previous book’s excerpt, so I don’t have to read the series again.
This story starts with Amanda. The new Alpha of the Ravenstone Pack and the key character in books one and three of this series. We do a time jump back seven years ago.
I love that she finds her fated mates on her first shift, but obviously, there are some complications. She is the pack princess, and he is just a border guard. Will her father accept this fated mate? Yup, her father seems to strong-arm them into not accepting this destiny, but they didn’t deny it either.
Troy’s pov, he is very protective and sweet, but there is a lot of bad history between him and Amanda. And they just don’t have time to work it out with one threat or another coming up all the time.
Kalo comes out of nowhere, and I’m racking my brain to figure out the species. Do you know? I did notice the breadcrumbs dropped, and I think I know where this is going. Ah, it is confirmed, but what it means is to be determined.
What would your wishes be if you could make wishes with someone who could grant them?
Ah, the truth of the fated mates is revealed, and it hurts them both, but can they get beyond it? Things get steamy as they get some forced proximity and truth.
“We had at least eight more hours locked up together in the small room with no distractions, no interruptions, and the pull of our mate bond that had only grown stronger since I got a taste of the kind of pleasure he could give me. Could we make it through the whole night without this growing spark between us becoming an inferno?”
— Wishes in the Moonlight (Rocky Mountain Wolves Book 4) by Melody Tyden
This book has me on the edge of my seat as it is action-packed with sizzling romance, intrigue, and a whole lot of interesting moments. I love the quotes, and the writing is so easy to read. Melody Tyden has done it again and made a book that catches your interest and doesn’t let go.
This story is action-packed with so much happening politically, mate bond-wise, and of course, the answered wishes as well. It is a layered story with so many intriguing side lines, but it all wraps up perfectly, and now I can’t wait for the next book in the series.
Melody Tyden did it again and wrote a story I couldn’t put down. The female is a tough but tender Alpha, the struggles and mate bonds, and of course, the interconnect found family, bringing past character into the storyline. This story is amazing and well worth the read if you enjoy things like fated mates, wolf shifters, and action-packed scenes.
