The right love doesn’t just fit — it transforms. Because love isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Big boobs, tiny waist, wide hips, and long legs. That’s me, Zelda Gordon.
The world calls me plus-sized.
My parents call me voluptuous.
My ex-boyfriend Tristan? He called me an embarrassment. So I kicked him outta my house and outta my life. But the damage was done and my confidence crawled into the gutter with him.
Until two of the sexiest, sweetest guys I’ve ever met lifted me up.
Drew and Aithan call me a Valkyrie, they call me beautiful, and they love me just the way I am. And you know what? I think I can learn to love myself, too. Unless jealousy rears its ugly head and murders our happiness just as it’s taking shape.
Because an ex’s spite is more dangerous than my curves
My Review
I was interested to read this book after seeing the ad on Facebook. The curvy heroine and contemporary romance with a cinnamon roll and a side of unexpected absolutely piqued my interest.
We begin the story with Zelda, and it is steamy but lackluster for her. Her two-year relationship is fizzling out. Her job is what every reader dreams of, and I’m so jelly. I love Zelda’s personality right off the bat in this book.
We get hints that Zelda isn’t just curvy but also has some chronic health issues, and I’m here for it. I love it when real issues and chronic illness are in books. This book is new adult, midlife, and steamy. I love that the health issues are highlighted but managed in the story; they are mentioned as Graves’ Disease. I also love that this author is a chronic illness warrior herself, so show her some love and read this awesome series.
I love that she is taking the time to find herself again and build back up her confidence. It seems with some unexpected luck and a little confidence, her life changes pretty quickly. I love how this goes from a disaster to a reverse harem.
Zelda, Drew, and Aithan make a very interesting romance, and yes, it is hot and steamy, but also a sweet and mature romance. This book was a fast read for me, but it was a great read, and I loved how it ended, and could be read as a stand-alone. This book isn’t so much a summer read, but it does have the body positivity I love going into the warmer season. This book is steamy, sexy, and feel-good with cinnamon roll men and a standout female MC.
