Being hunted isn’t the only thing I’m running from . . .
Ever since I was little, Griffin O’Neal has been my comfort. When two male werewolves attack me one night, I seek Griff out. Problem is, I have a boyfriend now and should have called him.
I try to shake off the attack and go back to normal, but the two males strike again. When a female from Midnight Pack goes missing, we’re forced to face the truth.
Werewolves are hunting us.
But that isn’t the only truth I must face. As Griff continues to be there for me, I struggle to keep my distance. I ended things between us a year ago for a reason, but my body—and my wolf—don’t seem to care.
MIDNIGHT HUNT is Griff and Vi’s story, a standalone werewolf romance. For fans of wolf shifters, childhood friends to lovers, brother’s best friend, and second chance romance. Guaranteed HEA.
*This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. Best suited for ages 18+ due to mature situations.
My Review
The prologue starts us with Griff and a time jump backward. His interactions with Vi certify his infatuation, but their rock-solid friendship has benefits sometimes. She does have him firmly in the friend zone as he is her older brother’s best friend.
We begin again with Violet’s pov and the man I have been pinning for this relationship since the start of the series. Violet is currently dating Reid, an all-American football star. He is also a werewolf. Oh, but even when dating someone else, Griff is the first person she calls when in trouble.
I love Griff’s caring nature and Vi’s stubborn, sassy streak. Vi has commitment issues for as strong and self-resilient as she is she can’t seem to commit to just one thing even when the true love we all want is staring her in the face.
Omg, I love that he falls first and is a total cinnamon roll. The angst is hot and steamy, and I just want them to accept each other already. Their encounters are hot enough to burn up your Kindle and if that isn’t enough the author brings in knotting too. Possessive alpha males and sizzling hot scenes this story has it all.
I love that this relationship has more than just forbidden brother’s best friend but wiggles into the fated mate’s trope as well. I love that it isn’t insta-love, it is angsty and emotional. Oh, the author is being twisted with this right at the end.
I love the ending of this story Vi and Griff are amazing and the overall story was wonderful.
