Seeking Snow Falls by Jenn D. Young

Rating: 4 out of 5.

It was supposed to be a fun getaway with my best friend, until I ran out of gas in the middle of nowhere Montana.

There I was, freezing to death, when three men came to my rescue and thawed the icicles around my heart.

There’s one little problem: they aren’t human.

When my own haunted past comes calling, they stand by my side and protect me.

But can I overcome my own demons and accept I have mates? Or will my own fears cripple me?

My Review

This story is a wintry paranormal romance with a human-fated mate, multiple shifters, and a damaged MC. While I enjoyed the protective Alpha instincts and the steamy scenes, the rest of the additions to the book, like the action-packed and gruesome fights, weren’t essential. They did little to interest me in the reverse harem that was the predominant part of the book. It just made it more complicated. However, it was a good paranormal romance read with Instalove and a curvy MC.

Laney is a writer heading to snowy Montana to find inspiration and wildness in her typically planned life. Her road trip only goes partially unplanned.

Connor is Alpha to Cameron and Adam. All the men are hot and robust shifters.

Of course, she is their human mate, which makes this story more interesting. There are parts of this story where the author hasn’t worked out all the details of the reverse harem, multiple houses for the guys and families, and some interactions seem forced.
This book gets instalove and steamy quickly as we get into the coupling in the reverse harem. It is all about the fated mates, but the author includes some LGBTQ+ items as well. Of course, it can’t be just simple. It has to get more paranormal involved.

This book is very graphic as they fight the darkness that arrives in Snow Falls. One villain is out of the story, and another catastrophe takes place; meanwhile, I’m more interested in the story behind Tyla. I could have read and enjoyed the story far more without the ulterior plot lines. The human mate story and adjustment to life with three men and the peculiarities of it would have been entertaining enough; the author didn’t need to add anything else. This story embraces lots of winter weather and mentions it in the story.
