Parker works as the social media manager for the local Harvest Hollow hockey team. She has had a crush on Logan, her brother’s best friend. She is funny and has a girl-next-door vibe.
Logan definitely has the bad-boy athlete vibe and is a social media hermit. However, his backstory is a little messed up, and his overprotective attitude toward Parker is sweet.
One thing leads to another, and the new man on the team is now going on a fake date with Parker. Love the author. It includes all the autumn vibes and is well described, making you want to sip that pumpkin spice drink while reading this rom-com. This story is hazardously hilarious.
She is a girl after my heart, loving sticky notes and an independent streak. From fake dates to fake boyfriends to neighbors, this gets all the romantic feels, and they continue to reality. The author does a great job melding romance and hockey, but the autumn vibes tapered off.
I did enjoy this super sweet, wholesome hockey romance, and while it didn’t make me wish for pumpkin spice, everything. It was a charming read and a great story. Parker and Logan’s chemistry, romance, and fake relationship were a wonderfully written story. I just wished I had more seasonal vibes in the book.
