My Review

Quinn is a wolf shifter excited for her life and family to start till the worst thing possible happens. Then, the book time jumps by a year to Carter’s perspective. Carter is, of course, caught in a precarious position. Carter is a Prince in the wolf kingdom and has been asked to take a chosen mate. I’m not sure what happened to his fated mate. But it all gets explained in the story.

Quinn is a single parent entering the dating world at her friend’s request. The hatred she feels toward the Crown Prince is understandable. I love the mystery behind the blind date and the unknown involved in it.

Oh snap, the secret is out now, and what will be her response. The suspense is nail-biting. Well, that’s quite the reaction I suspected from the truth reveal, but then again, I appreciate that subdued drama.
Quinn is a badass, being a mother, soldier, widower, and still working for the empire in deadly missions.

From blind dates to coworkers, this story sure gets twisted for Carter and Quinn. Fated mates, chosen mates, rejected mates, and many more exciting tropes in this storyline, as well as the magical and supernatural items.

This book has the picture-perfect ending to the fabulous paranormal romance. It’s a timeless story with a feel-good ending that will make you swoon. I love Carter and Quinn and the entire Royal world the author had created in this book. This story is fantastic if you are looking for a feel-good wolf-shifter romance.

I love that this author is taking the leap from being a pay-to-read writer to publishing her items on Amazon. I’m excited about her continued work and look forward to supporting her indie stories.
